A candlelit table on the eastern edge of the Arts District, where market-driven plates meet a low, amber glow and a well-kept cellar.
Chef Lena Okafor opened Noctis & Vine after a decade between kitchens in San Sebastián and the Bay, chasing a simple idea: a neighborhood dining room where the fire does the talking and nothing arrives on the plate that wasn’t in the ground a day or two before.
The menu changes constantly — sometimes mid-service — shaped by whatever the growers at the downtown market pulled that morning. What stays the same is the room: low light, real candles, records on the turntable, and a team that treats a Tuesday like a Saturday.
Reclaimed oak, brushed brass, and a hearth you can see from every seat.
