A café that grew out of a garage roaster
Wildfern started in 2015 with a secondhand drum roaster, a corner of a bike shop, and a stubborn belief that great coffee should feel unhurried. We named it for the ferns that take root in the quiet understory of the Pacific Northwest forests — patient, green, and everywhere once you look.
Today we roast in small batches every Tuesday and Friday, sourcing green coffee directly from fourteen partner farms we visit and pay above fair-trade for. Nothing sits on our shelf longer than two weeks. If a bag has our name on it, we'd happily brew it for you across the counter.
